The 1st BigOcean Metarence in 2022(Conference Ver.)
Jeju National University’s Big Ocean Team, which is part of the Brain Korea (BK) 21 program and is called Big Data based Ocean Convergence Education AgeNcy has developed its own conference platform on the metaverse platform, Roblox. This platform is called “Big Ocean Metarence,” which combines the words “metaverse” and “conference.”
The conference will take place in a modeled virtual version of the 4th building of the Jeju National University College of Ocean Science. Oral presentations will take place in the virtual Ocean Hall, poster exhibitions will be held in virtual room 5170, and the introduction of the Big Ocean Team will be presented in virtual room 5065.
The conference will also feature keynote speeches by Professor Hyoyoung Jung of the University of California, Davis Campus, and Professor Deepak Dubal of the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia.
